I’ve been trying for the past 12 months to get my pebble-dashed house painted. I contacted some of the best known exterior decorators around Heswall. Of the 5 I called, only 2 called round; one said he would send an estimate but never did the other gave me a silly price involving scaffolding. Then along came Dave Faulkner. Saw him visit a neighbour, asked him to call and he came straight round to take a look. He sent me a great quote that evening and said was able to squeeze me in the following week. He arrived as planned, completed the job in just over 3 days to an extremely high standard and all cleaned up afterwards; a great job very pleased. Not only a good decorator but a reliable business person and very likeable to talk to. Also, he is training up an apprentice to go into the trade – full marks there. Would recommend him to anyone. Dave painted our hall stairs and landing this week and has done an excellent job. It looks great. He and his assistant were always punctual and kept us up to date with what he was doing. We have already recommended him to friends and will use him again.

Dave & Dylan have done a great job decorating my lounge! I’ve used him before, and he’s always been spot on. His prices are fair, but it’s the quality of his work that really stands out. You can tell he takes pride in what he does – it’s better than anyone else I’ve had in the past.

This time, he smoothed out the walls, lined them, and painted the ceiling, woodwork, and walls. It all looks brilliant! He’s quick, tidy, polite, and super helpful. Honestly, I can’t fault him.

Workmanship was excellent. They arrived when expected & worked none stop throughout the day. Customer service was exceptionally good. Nothing was to much trouble. Dave and his apprentice Dylan have been here all week painting our living room, kitchen, dining room, hall stairs and landing. They have done an amazing job, particularly the staircase that was dark varnish – it is now white – it looks super! Very knowledgeable, courteous punctual and professional. Great job! Just had D N Decorators to decorate the interior of a house of an elderly relative who recently passed Dave attended and in addition to quoting gave advice re issues that if addressed would clearly benefit the property. 

There was no hard sell and his advice was professional and as it turned out correct.

 We dont live near the property but Dave kept us updated with texts photos and calls that put our mind at rest. 

The property looked stunning when finished. 

The job he did was very reasonably priced and the actual work carried out was quick and first class leaving the house clean and tidy on completion of works. We recently had Dave decorate 3 rooms for us We hadn’t decorated for a while and he was great at giving us some advice.

We were having other work done on the house at the same time and he worked around that too.

He’s a really friendly and helpful guy who was helping us with other things in the house not even related to his job and we appreciated that He was on time every day and his work is really good he is a perfectionist
